Time for an update on my post Write Your Way To Health and Wellness I’ve been on vacation so my tracking was not as accurate at it is while I’m at home. Since returning from vacation my exercise routine is still lacking a day or two a week. EEEk! Happy to report that I have been active so that’s a plus. I’ve actually lost four pounds since my last post. Not rapid weight loss by any means but it’s better than nothing. Besides, I’m not really interested in how fast I can lose it — really! I’m going for a lasting change in habit and routine. So don’t stress if you didn’t lose a lot or stayed the same. It’s what you do over the long haul that makes a difference and in the end will make you proud.
Speaking of lasting weight loss, I was delighted to find out that one of my favorite health and wellness Doctors has written a new book. No it isn’t Dr. Oz. Dr. Ann Kulz is serious about health and wellness and she’s not doing anything weird or wacky, it’s straight, open honest talk about nutrition, health and what it’s going to take to lose the pounds for good and enjoy a healthier lifestyle. It’s not flashy and it’s not fast. If you’re tired of the all the celebrity hype about different diets (and eating weird things) and are ready for some straight-talk, this is the place to go.
So how did you do? Any ups and downs? Were you more consistent than I’ve been these past weeks? I really want to do better in the coming months because I want to have some blood tests to see if what I’m doing is working to lower my blood sugar.
Any goals you’d like to share? Please do!
Have a happy healthy weekend!
